Cook and Carry is a Texas A&M AgriLife program that eliminates the “what’s for dinner?” dilemma from your hectic schedule. This program will provide participants with hands-on preparation of Three  take home, freezer-ready main dishes for easy bake-and-eat meals that will feed a family of six. Walk Across Texas

Walk Across Texas is a free, eight week program designed to help people of all ages support one another to establish the habit of regular physical activity.  The program is implemented throughout the year in Texas counties.  Texas AgriLife Extension Service has also partnered with the Texas Education Agency to offer Walk Across Texas to youth and employees in Texas school districts.  Find out more information here: https://howdyhealth.org/

 

Step Up Scale Down

Step Up & Scale Down is a 12 week educational program based on the USDA 2010 Dietary Guidelines which is intended to help Americans choose a healthful eating plan within their calorie requirements to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. The Dietary Guidelines provide sound scientific information about how proper dietary habits can promote health and reduce risk for major chronic diseases.

**Classes  are held each January and August**
